We are seeking an MRICS-qualified Senior Estates Surveyor to oversee a property portfolio. This interim role will lead on compliance, asset performance, and financial management across the estate.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all council-owned properties to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient use

* Lead on acquisitions, disposals, leases, valuations, and annual portfolio reviews

* Ensure legal, health & safety, and policy compliance across the estate

* Maintain property system Minerva and ensure financial accuracy in Unit4

* Manage budgets, fixed asset valuations, and property insurance

* Provide expert property advice to internal and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

* MRICS - essential

* Strong asset management, compliance, and financial skills

* Experience using property/finance systems (Minerva, Unit4, or similar)

* Able to work on-site 3 days per week and start quickly
