Reed are recruiting for a Graduate Engineer exciting opportunity in a global manufacturing company, where you will utilise your skills in CAD tools like SolidWorks to contribute to the development of bespoke products. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Utilise CAD tools such as SolidWorks to produce essential engineering information including 3D models and assembly drawings.
• Provide technical support for procurement activities.
• Actively participate in project planning meetings, ensuring all targets are met and effective recovery plans are implemented.
• Review and compile data and documentation for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in responses and reports.
• Contribute to the development and innovation of new products and processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, practices, technology, and methodologies.
• Apply engineering theories, principles, and practices to complete assigned engineering tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks is essential.
• Experience in generating bills of materials, routings, assembly instructions, and manuals is desirable.
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications; SAP experience is a plus.
• Proactive in initiating improvements in working processes and practices.
