CareerMakers are looking for a Workshop Engineer for one of our clients in Trafford.

You will be required to undertake a wide range of tasks, working efficiently to repair customers' equipment, often to tight deadlines. Key tasks will involve the repair, overhaul, rebuild and testing of all types of electrical rotating equipment including: -

* Electric motors, both AC & DC • Industrial pump units • Gearboxes & geared motors • Fans & air handling units • general rotating equipment

The role will involve working both in our workshop and on customers' sites, identifying faults, carrying out mechanical & electrical repairs & rebuilding equipment as necessary. Experience in using vibration monitoring, dynamic balancing and laser alignment equipment would be an advantage along with knowledge of inverter drives
