Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a well-established, West Yorkshire-based organisation to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role will support the Senior Finance Business Partner and play a key role in month-end reporting, forecasting, and providing commercial insight. There is also a strong focus on project support, financial modelling, and business partnering across the wider organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver accurate month-end reporting, including management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
Partner with budget holders and divisional teams to understand performance, challenge assumptions, and communicate financial impacts
Support budgeting, forecasting, and latest-view cycles, including updating forecast models and ensuring timely submission of financial information
Build financial models to support projects, business cases, and strategic decisions, including tracking risks, opportunities, and success metrics
Provide insight and scenario analysis to senior stakeholders, ensuring recommendations are clear and actionable
Take ownership of project accounting tasks where required, providing guidance and analysis to support decision-making
Maintain strong financial controls and contribute to compliance and audit processes
Support and mentor junior finance colleagues, deputising for the Senior Finance Business Partner when necessary
Prepare packs and reports for budget holder review meetings and wider divisional finance discussions
About You
Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience
Strong experience in a management accounting or finance business partnering role
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly
Commercially aware with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Experience within a retail or consumer-focused environment is beneficial
Able to commute to Bradford on a hybrid basis
