Are you a dynamic Science Teacher with an adventurous side seeking a new challenge? Look no further!

We are very pleased to be working on behalf of the Falklands Islands Government to appoint a new Science Teacher to work within the main island secondary school, commencing in January 2020. This a truly exciting position and will offer the right candidate the experience of a lifetime.

The archipelago consists of two main islands: West Falkland and East Falkland, and about 776 small and very small islands, mostly uninhabited. You will have a proven track record of successful Science teaching, ensuring the best possible progress and academic outcomes for students through planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to a high standard on a daily basis.

The person
Professionally, you will be a resilient and self-motivated individual, with qualified teacher status and at least 2 years post NQT teaching experience. Experience of teaching GCSE Science within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is essential for this position.
