Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Haringey - After Easter Start

Primary Schools in **Haringey are looking to recruit a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter break. This Teaching Assistant role offers a mix of general classroom support and SEND support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in their learning, assist the class teacher, and help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment. The successful Teaching Assistant will be adaptable, reliable, and confident working with children with a range of needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Supporting classroom learning as a Teaching Assistant

Working with small groups and individuals as a Teaching Assistant

Supporting pupils with SEND needs as a Teaching Assistant

Assisting with lesson preparation as a Teaching Assistant

Encouraging positive behaviour as a Teaching Assistant

Working closely with teachers and staff as a Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant opportunity offers immediate work after Easter with the potential to move into a long-term Teaching Assistant role.

Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
