Mechanical Site Manager - HVAC Package (Commercial Project)

Location: Didcot

Start: Early April

Duration: Approx. 6 Months

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a full HVAC package on a commercial building project in Didcot.

This is a key role managing mechanical works across multiple floors, including plant room installation and pipework distribution, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The Role for the Mechanical Site Manager:

Manage day-to-day site operations for the mechanical/HVAC package

Oversee installation of plant room equipment and pipework across several floors

Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are progressing in line with programme

Work closely with a visiting Project Manager to support delivery

Assist in maintaining and updating the construction programme

Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety requirements

Monitor quality and ensure high standards of installation

Requirements for the Mechanical Site Manager:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plant rooms, and pipe installation

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme

Good communication and organisational skills

SMSTS, 3 Day FAW, CSCS card preferably Black

Relevant mechanical qualifications (desirable)
