Maintenance Assistant - Multi-Site (London)

Location: Various sites across London
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £31,000 - Plus travel card (expensed)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and smooth operation of multiple commercial and residential sites across London. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards in building services.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs across multiple sites (plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)

* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies

* Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively

* Support contractors and engineers on-site when required

* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

* Help with administrative duties - log books etc

* Updates HSE records - understanding of policies and regulation

Requirements

* Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (multi-site experience desirable)

* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

* Understanding of HSE Regulations

* Computer literate

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* CSCS card or equivalent (preferred)
