Our client is looking for a Part Time Administrator. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a contract basis.

ROLE

To provide a high quality and flexible frontline service (including reception, information, booking and referral service) to students, staff and visitors to the College which is comprehensive, accurate and efficient. To provide clerical support to staff within the Student Advice Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Dealing with all visitors to the College with the highest possible standards of customer care, to both internal and external clients, ensuring that all requests are met with a positive approach and in line with college policies.
Operating an efficient telephone system, ensuring a quality service to both external and internal clients, ensuring that all requests are met with a positive approach and in line with college policies.
In conjunction with colleagues, devise best practise procedures in accordance with the service standards and objectives/key behaviours agreed while carrying out Receptionist/Telephonist duties.
Ensure that all visitors are signed in and issued the appropriate pass in line with College policies.
Directing clients and visitors to key locations and personnel.
Maintaining the Reception area (including stands), ensuring adequate stocks of general College information are on display at all times.
Administering bookings for rooms, ICT equipment and pool cars as required.
Covering Reception at other campuses as required on request.
Undertaking clerical/administration duties for the Student Advice Centre team as required.
REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 National 5's A-C or equivalent (SCQF level 5)
A qualification in customer care or related activity*
ECDL*
Experience And Knowledge

Clerical/administrative experience, ideally within a cross college role
Experience of reception work
An understanding of the role of support services within a college setting
Skills

Oral and written communication skills
Numeracy skills
Able to work on own initiative and without supervision
The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
