Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic team and take ownership of supplier performance and procurement for technical goods and services. As a Senior Buyer, you will collaborate with R&D, manage supplier relationships, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure product quality and timely delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to influence key project outcomes and contribute to process improvements.

As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

* Managing supplier delivery performance and approved supplier lists

* Overseeing the design change control function

* Procuring technical materials aligned with project needs

* Creating project timing plans and coordinating supplier activities

* Negotiating pricing, raising purchase orders, and conducting cost reduction (VA/VE)

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Conducting supplier site visits to strengthen relationships

Skills & Experience:

* Strong procurement and supply chain knowledge

* Proven negotiation and supplier management skills

* Ability to interpret technical drawings

* Experience in engineering or purchasing roles
