Role- Dispatch Assistant
Location- Rotherham
Hours- 42.5 hours, 7am - 4pm Mon- Fri
Salary- £27,956 per annum (£12.65ph basic)
Overtime is paid at premium rates.
My client is a leading name in the field of Fabrication and Laser profiling, Operating from their facilities in Rotherham, there is now an opportunity for a Dispatch Assistant to join the team.
You must have -
FLT Licence and full driving licence
Be organised and methodical.
Be confident completing paper work.
Duties will involve -
* Pulling jobs together to ensure customer jobs are complete and correct to the order paperwork. Informing the Dispatch co-ordinator when jobs are complete and read for dispatch.
* Packing and palletising of finished goods ready for dispatch.
* Monitoring stock levels of bought in pallets and wrapping materials.
* Manufacture of over-size or special size pallets.
* Communicate with the Dispatch co-ordinator with notification of 'shortages' or 'ready for courier'.
* Keeping the dispatch area clean, safe and tidy at all times.
* Achieving the agreed dispatch date of customer orders.
* Safe working in the use of the companies' forklift truck and delivery vehicles.
* For the effective two-way communication of all relevant information between the customer and the company.
* To attend and participate with all relevant documentation in meetings as required by the Directors.
* To assist the Company with the implementation of our manufacturing strategies in order to most effectively and efficiently reach the company's sales and profitability targets within the available resource.
* To provide all necessary technical support to the company to ensure customer orders are met in line with expectations and delivery promises.
* To ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard and utilised to the best of its ability.
Overtime is payable at 1.25 hourly rate for weekdays and 1.5 at weekends.
The company have a profit related bonus scheme at 8%, calculated every 3 months, paid the month after, the scheme is open to new members each January and you must have completed 6 months employment to join.
20 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays,Xmas break is covered by the company.
