Our client are seeking a Property Administrator to join their team on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. This role is crucial for managing the property transactions including leases, purchases, and sales for their clients' properties held in SIPPs (Self-Invested Personal Pensions) and SSASs (Small Self-Administered Schemes).
This role offers a great opportunity to build on your property experience and get an insight in to the legalities of properties held in trust in personal pensions.
Day-to-Day of the Role: - Manage and oversee the administrative side of property transactions such as leases, purchases, and sales for properties held in private and company pension funds.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC tax laws to prevent taxation on property and rental income.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all property transactions and related documentation.
- Provide administrative support to a team of 5, ensuring efficient operation and communication within the team.
- Assist in the preparation and review of property-related documents and contracts.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in property administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of property transactions related to SIPPs and SSASs is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of HMRC tax laws related to property and rental income.
- RICS qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
This role is being offered on a FTC basis until March 2026 and is 100% office based.
