Packing & Assembly Operative - Tamworth

Location: Tamworth
Pay: £13.56 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday | 08:30 - 16:30

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting Packing and Assembly Operatives for a local company that supplies and distributes online plant orders. This is a 10-12 week temporary assignment during a particularly busy period. Working at a fast pace is essential, and previous experience is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Packing Operative:

• Meet daily order targets efficiently and accurately

• Use hand-held scanners to produce despatch notes and shipping labels

Assembly Operative:

• Assemble packaging for plants to prepare them for shipping

Requirements

• Basic literacy and numeracy

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Driving required due to site location

Additional Information:

• Training will be provided, though previous experience is desirable

• Additional hours or shifts may be required depending on business needs
