Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer Location: Wandsworth and surrounding areas. Salary: 40,000 per year, plus call outs. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Responsibilities of the Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer: " Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. " To respond (promptly and positively) to service and breakdown requests, assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs/replacements as necessary within agreed timescales/response times and updating the call and job status afterwards. " Carry out service, maintenance and testing on water boosters & ventilation systems including but not limited to commercial ventilation systems, in flat ventilation, MVHRs, and commercial water boosters. " To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and offer recommendations regarding suitable replacement " Carry out maintenance, repair and replacement of control systems & panels. " All works to be completed according to our Health, Safety & Environmental policies specification paying particular attention to electrics, working at heights and manual handling. Requirements of the Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer: " Create and support a safety-first working culture " You will hold recognised qualifications - Min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation " F Gas (2079) qualified (Desirable) " 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable, however - A safe understanding of both single, three phase and safe isolation is essential) " Understand the requirements set out in Building Regs F, when working with ventilation. " Liaise and communicate effectively with all parties including other engineers, our office team, suppliers and clients. " You will be professional, pleasant, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful at all times whilst having a hands-on, can-do approach to your work. " A positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment (and adapt accordingly), but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. " Experience of Boosters & Ventilation systems in a multi-site environment. " Support Emergency Call Out rota for out of hours emergencies " Full Driving Licence and willing to travel on a daily basis.
