Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

💷 Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 upon successful completion of probation
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday - Days | 40 hours per week
📞 On-Call: 1 in 4 rotation
💰 Overtime: Time and a half
📅 Holidays: 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
📄 Contract: Permanent

The Role

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a manufacturing environment on a permanent, days-based shift pattern.

You will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery

*

Fault finding on electrical systems and production equipment

*

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns

*

PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics

*

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

*

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures

*

Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4)

Minimum Requirements

*

Time-served, qualified engineer

*

18th Edition

*

Strong electrical fault-finding capability

*

PLC knowledge (fault finding / basic diagnostics)

*

Experience working with industrial machinery

*

Background within a manufacturing environment (essential)
