Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Salary: £42,000 + overtime and excellent benefits
Shift: Straight Days Monday to Friday (including one afternoon shift every 3 weeks)

The role:

*

Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a range of mechanical systems and production machinery

*

Working alongside production and engineering teams to minimise downtime

*

Fault finding, repairs, and improvements to plant and equipment

*

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and site upgrades

*

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety and food hygiene standards

About you:

*

Time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias

*

Experience working within a food, FMCG, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment

*

Confident with mechanical fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic fabrication

*

Proactive mindset with good problem-solving skills

*

A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
