Are you passionate about English and ready to help students thrive outside of the traditional classroom?

TP Tutors is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated English Tutors to provide 1:1 support for pupils in your local area. With an immediate start, this is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with learners who need extra guidance to grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

What You'll Do:

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised English sessions that meet each student's unique needs
• Support pupils learning outside mainstream education - this could take place in homes, libraries, or local community settings
• Help students improve literacy, comprehension, writing, and exam techniques
• Track their progress and tailor sessions to keep them moving forward
• Keep learners focused and motivated through positive and supportive teaching strategies

What We're Looking For:

• Experience teaching or tutoring English at primary or secondary level
• Confident delivering content across reading, writing, grammar, and spoken language
• Able to plan dynamic and accessible lessons that cater to individual learning styles
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
• A commitment to helping pupils build confidence and make measurable progress

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can support this)
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in 1:1 or small group settings
• Right to work in the UK
• Commitment to safeguarding and educational excellence
