We're working with a specialist engineering solutions provider that's seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

The Role

As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the design and development of electrical systems, schematics, and control panels. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the creation of electrical schematics and panel layout drawings
Supporting project documentation, BOM creation and work order release using ERP systems
Participating in design reviews and ECR (Engineering Change Request) processes
Shadowing senior engineers and taking part in client meetings (with occasional site visits)
Contributing to technical report writing and design documentationAbout You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Familiarity with CAD software (preferably Eplan or similar)
A basic understanding of load calculations and cable compliance
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn
An interest in value engineering and working to project specificationsBenefits
