The Role:
The Assistant Management Accountant will provide essential support to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial information. This role involves assisting with reporting, billing, and compliance tasks, as well as supporting operational teams with day-to-day financial queries. You will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll be Doing:
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and Profit & Loss statements.
Support the billing process by ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time.
Help maintain compliance with financial controls and escalate any risks promptly.
Provide administrative and analytical support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
Respond to operational team queries and provide basic financial guidance where
required.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and documentation.
Generate ad hoc reports as requested by the finance team.
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across financial systems.
Occasional travel to operational units or client meetings as required
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role (minimum 1 year
preferred).
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
