ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for experienced maintenance team leader to join their team at their flagship site in Leicestershire. The company who turnover circa £450m across 30+ sites have a fantastic reputation within their market space which they excel in. The site is relatively new having only been operational for the last 6 years and hosts a number of state of art pieces of machinery. This site is spearheaded by a diverse and down to earth plant manager, alongside an experienced operations team. This opportunity is fantastic for any maintenance team leader who is looking for stability and long-term employment.

About the role

As a Mainteancne Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

-            Planning in the team's maintenance works

-            Supporting with the management of shut down periods.

-            Supporting the team with complex problem solving and getting involved with complex breakdowns.

-            Root cause analysis, continuous improvement and project management.

-            Management of external contracts and onsite contractors.

-            Managing health and safety alongside a SHE coordinator.

-            KPI management

About you

To be considered for this Mainteancne Team Leader role you should have/be the following:

-            Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

-            Previous experience working as a maintenance team leader or senior engineer.

-            Experience leading a team to achieve business KPIs

-            Experience managing health and safety completing RAMS

-            Able to work in pressurised situations and can make decisions confidently.

-            Time Served and qualified with a level 3 engineering qualification.
