Position: Head of Biology

Smart Teachers are seeking an exceptional Head of Biology to join a distinguished independent school in South East London from January to July 2026. The Role: 

Lead the Biology department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

Teach Biology across GCSE and A Level

Oversee curriculum planning, assessment and departmental development

Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and pastoral responsibilities

A skilled Biology teacher with strong subject knowledge

Previous leadership experience preferred; outstanding practitioners looking to step up are welcome to apply
