Weekly Pay: £480 - £500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (term time only)

Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-PermLong Term Futures is seeking an adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming, inclusive, two-form-entry primary school, rated Good by Ofsted, in Selly Oak. The role is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

The Role

Supporting children across Year 3 and Year 4 with a range of SEN needs.
Provide small-group and 1:1 support for children with ASD,SEMH, communication needs and learning difficulties
Support interventions focused on reading comprehension, writing, numeracy and social skills
Help pupils stay engaged, regulated and confident in class
Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt tasks and provide accessible learningWhat the School is Looking For?

Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, communication needs, sensory needs and/or SEMH
Ability to work across KS2 and support learning in Year 3 & 4
Understanding of strategies for supporting communication, regulation and engagement
A patient, nurturing approach with strong relationship-building skills
Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
Minimum of 1 years' experience in a Primary School settingAbout the School
