We are partnering with a global industry leader in the manufacturing sector to recruit for an experienced Product Specialist to join their facility based in Birmingham. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of product integrity, process improvement, and customer engagement within a dynamic, technically demanding environment.

Reporting directly to the Technical Specialist Lead, this position will act as the technical authority for all products manufactured on-site. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage technical aspects of the manufacturing process, and be a critical link between internal teams and customer technical departments.

Serve as the technical lead on all products produced at the site.
Develop and optimise process routes ensuring full compliance with customer requirements.
Investigate and resolve product or process non-conformities and feed findings back into process improvement initiatives.
Review and assess new customer specifications for manufacturing capability.
Act as a key representative of the Business Management System, driving improvements and adherence throughout operations.
Liaise with customer technical departments regarding process changes and approvals.
Identify and implement manufacturing best practices, both internally and externally.
Support product improvement events and cross functional collaboration.What We're Looking For:

A relevant degree in a technical discipline.
Previous experience in a technical or manufacturing role.
Proven experience leading and delivering short to medium-term projects.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process routing, and quality standards.
Technically adept with strong analytical and process improvement capabilities.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage across all levels, including external customers.
