Mazco Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established engineering company based in Birmingham, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality gearboxes and hydraulic components. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team.

The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming XYZ milling machines using ProtoTRAK controls. You will be working on precision components, including gear cutting and gearbox-related parts, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set, operate, and programme XYZ CNC milling machines using ProtoTRAK

* Manufacture components for gearboxes, gear cutting, and hydraulic systems

* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards

* Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller

* Strong knowledge of XYZ machines and ProtoTRAK programming

* Experience working with gearbox components, gears, or hydraulics (highly desirable)

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
