Our client is searching for a Metal Tool Shop Foreman for their production facility in Atlanta, GA. This person is responsible for the day-to-day production activities of the metal shop team. This individual would be responsible for managing a 12 to 20 welders and fabricators.
Our client is looking for someone with well rounded knowledge of metal fabrication. This person will communicate with areas of the production team. This position requires the individual to manage multiple projects consecutively and work both independently and with team members. They are looking for someone who is interested in creative metal working and enjoys thinking outside the box to make a design happen.
This person must know MIG and TIG welding and ideally be able to teach if necessary. They will not necessary be the hands on welder, but may need to get their hands dirty and jump in. Our client is looking for an out of the box thinker to take a design and make it a reality. Each design may be different. Our client is not looking for a person who has worked on one part their whole career.
1. Workflow between Management, Shop & Production Departments

- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Place production orders from customers
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
