We are a specialist PMLD school dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to pupils with complex needs. We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a range of complex needs, including sensory and physical impairments

Assist with PEG feeding and ensure all medical protocols are followed correctly

Facilitate communication using PECS and other AAC tools

Provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity

Support safe moving and handling of pupils, following individual care plans and risk assessments

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised support

Requirements:

Proven experience working in a PMLD or SEN setting
Confident in delivering PEG feeding, personal care, and using PECS
Trained in safe moving and handling practices
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
