Head of Finance - Hybrid | Bolton / Manchester

£50,000 - £55,000 + up to 10% bonus + benefits

The Role for Head Of Finance:

We're looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to lead a small team, own cash and reporting processes, and provide the financial insight that drives business growth. This is a chance to step into a visible, senior role in a scaling SME environment in our Bolton based business in Greater Manchester.

What you'll do as Head Of Finance:

* Deliver month-end by WD5 and a board pack by WD7.

* Run a live 13-week cashflow and lead weekly cash meetings.

* Oversee WIP, revenue recognition, and project margin tracking.

* Drive working capital improvements (collections, supplier terms, stock control).

* Manage banking relationships, payroll accuracy, and core compliance.

* Lead and develop a team of 4 while improving processes and reporting.

About You

* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong SME experience.

* Skilled in cash forecasting, working capital, and project accounting.

* Confident with banks, advisers, and compliance.

* Strong Excel/BI skills (Zoho a bonus).

* Ideally based locally to the Bolton or Greater Manchester area
