Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join their growing team near Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in financial services who is looking to play a key role in supporting advisers and ensuring the smooth delivery of the advice process.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in the financial services industry
- Solid understanding of relevant products and advice processes
- Familiarity with the compliant delivery of financial advice
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Deliver an efficient and positive experience to new and existing clients throughout the advice process
- Stay up to date with financial services product knowledge
- Work closely with advisers and the wider team to manage priorities and deadlines
- Gather all appropriate information for the technical team to prepare suitability reports
- Review adviser meeting notes and create relevant workflows
- Prepare and process new business applications and related documentation
- Report directly to the team leader
- Update and maintain client files using the back-office system (Plannr)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, while upholding company values and service standards
- Handle new prospect enquiries, produce and issue Letters of Authority, and liaise with providers to gather plan information
- Arrange annual review meetings and prepare supporting reports
- Produce and collate all pre-meeting paperwork including valuations, application forms, and regulatory documents
