🌟 The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, communication, and personal development, both inside and outside the classroom.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs

*

Support pupils with mild to severe learning disabilities

*

Assist with the delivery of personalised learning programmes

*

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

*

Support with personal care where required

*

Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals

✔️ Requirements

*

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (preferred)

*

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

*

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
