A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager has risen to join a growing and highly reputable Container Haulier in Grays. The company have grown steadily since their inception 15 years ago and now looking for a proven Operations Manager to head up their team of traffic operators.

Salary £

Plus Bonuses

8am – 6pm (additional hours may be required.)

Duties Include

• Supervising and assisting their team of operators
• Making changes to traffic sheets where appropriate
• Ensure fleet in running as profitably as possible.
• Training and coaching new and existing staff
• Reporting directly to Company Directors
• Liasing with drivers and customers where appropriate
• Making procedural changes where appropriate.
• Adhering to industry legislation (ATD etc.)
• Recruiting and hiring

Skills Required

• A significant amount of Container haulage experience
• A proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators
• Good team player
• Excellent Management skills
• Effective communicator
