Service Desk Engineer
Hybrid working following successful completion of 3 month induction.
We are seeking a proactive Service Desk Engineer to join our Service Delivery Team, delivering top-tier IT support both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Resolve 2nd line and NOC support tickets promptly.
- Provide on-site client support and maintain clear ticket documentation.
- Identify recurring IT issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Develop technical guides, mentor 1st Line Analysts, and liaise with partners/vendors.
- Stay updated on technology and cyber-security developments; pursue relevant certifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years IT support experience, in an MSP environment.
- Strong customer service and client-facing skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, virtualization, networking, backup/DR solutions, and cyber-security technologies.
- Competent with Windows, macOS, and mobile device support.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- UK driving license required.
