Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large, well-established secondary school in Hastings to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Lesson Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator or aspiring middle leader looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

About the Role

As a Lesson Leader, you will play a key role in driving high-quality teaching and learning across your subject area. You will support staff development, contribute to curriculum planning, and help ensure all students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across your subject specialism
Support and mentor teaching staff to improve classroom practice
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with senior leadership and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
Demonstrated leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
