Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in groundskeeping, with a passion for gardening and landscape maintenance.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are well-kept, safe, and visually appealing.

Duties

* Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.

* Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.

* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain landscapes and gardens.

* Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other outdoor structures as needed.

* Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering techniques are followed to promote healthy growth.

* Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.

* Maintain equipment in good working order through routine checks and minor repairs.

* Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, and planting seasonal flowers.

Requirements

* Proven experience in grounds keeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.

* Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and equipment safely.

* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

* Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.

* Attention to detail with a keen eye for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in outdoor spaces.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
