Senior Engineering Manager

Salary - Up to £80,000

Location - South West England

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager with a strong track record to join a well-established FMCG business. In this high-impact role, you'll lead the engineering and site services function, setting the strategy and driving performance across asset reliability and maintenance.

You'll be responsible for leading a multi-skilled team, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring engineering excellence. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in delivering site objectives through effective planning, team development, and continuous improvement.

You will be expected to implement a clear engineering improvement roadmap, enhance maintenance processes, and drive sustainable, long-term performance. This role will challenge your leadership, planning, and organisational skills, and will require strategic thinking to stay ahead in a fast-paced, competitive manufacturing environment.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Demonstrates a collaborative leadership style with the ability to build a high-performance culture across engineering teams.
Strong understanding of maintenance strategy, reliability, with a hands-on approach to driving improvements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence across departments and manage contractor relationships.
Track record of delivering engineering improvements and supporting business growth through strong people and performance management.
