Residential Support Worker (RSW)

£24,500 - £32,000 per annum

We are seeking a committed and responsible Residential Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people within a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, and well-being of children and young people at all times.
• Build positive, respectful relationships and support individual care plans.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using approved strategies.
• Support emotional well-being, education, life skills, and recreational activities.
• Assist with personal care, health needs, and (where trained) medication administration.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with families and external professionals.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment.
• Work flexibly to a shift rota, including sleep-ins, and attend supervision and training.

Requirements:

• Willingness to take personal responsibility for safeguarding and professional conduct.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow policies and regulatory standards.
• Commitment to ongoing training and development.
