Accounts Supervisor - office based (hybrid options available)

Based near West Northampton

£28000-£32000 + Benefits

Family-owned Environmental Consultancy with over 35 staff are actively growing as a business. To ensure the high standards of the company are maintained, they are now looking for an Accounts Supervisor who is looking to take that next step in their career and eventually move into a management position.

Based near Northampton, the Accounts Supervisor role will initially be office based to help with their integration into the team. Reporting into the Operations Director, they will play a key part in the day-to-day management of all financial processes (internal and external), ensuring everything runs smoothly and best practise are maintained at all times.

The Accounts Supervisor position can be adapted to suit the right individual, but ideally the successful applicant will have as many of the following as possible

* 5+ years working in a commercial finance department

* Proven experience using accountancy software (QuickBooks preferred)

* Full driving license

* Finance/Accountancy qualifications seen as beneficial.

* Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work to project deadlines.

Duties for the Accounts Supervisor will include

* Assisting with payroll and processing staff expenses.

* Raising credit notes including helping to manage client queries (phone & email)

* Ensuring all information on QuickBooks is accurate

* Managing the day-to-day accounts processes and internal emails

* Producing weekly finance reports.

* VAT reports
