Science Teacher – Full-Time Position Starting September 2026

A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated and motivated Science Teacher to join its teaching team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality Science teaching and supporting student progress across all ability levels.

Role Overview:
  • Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress
  • Contributing to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of training by September 2026
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration
