The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Fabric Technician to support the maintenance and enhancement of our estate. This role is ideal for someone with a strong carpentry background who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality reactive and planned fabric maintenance
  • Conducting fire door inspections and other PPMs
  • Collaborating with contractors and in-house engineers
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Maintaining accurate records via our CAFM system

This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of a major London campus.

About You

Essential:

  • Carpentry qualification and proven experience in fabric maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confident using digital tools (iPad, CAFM systems, Microsoft Office)
  • A team player with a flexible, problem-solving mindset

Desirable:

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • City & Guilds/apprenticeship in a relevant trade
  • First Aid qualification
