Yard Manager

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting for a Yard Manager on behalf of a well-established brickwork and scaffold company. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term security with a reliable and supportive team.

About the role of Yard Manager

You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the yard, managing materials, scaffolding equipment, and logistics. The role supports multiple live construction projects and plays a vital part in keeping sites running efficiently.

Responsibilities for Yard Manager

Manage all inbound and outbound deliveries
Organise, track, and maintain stock of materials and tools
Ensure the yard is kept clean, safe, and compliant with H&S standards
Oversee tool and equipment checks, cleaning, and maintenance
Coordinate closely with site teams and suppliers
Supervise any yard operatives or driversRequirements for Yard Manager

Previous yard or logistics experience in a construction setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Familiarity with scaffolding or brickwork materials beneficial
Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
