I'm currently working with a growing business in the commercial interiors sector who are looking to bring in a Business Development Executive to support their continued expansion. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting new opportunities, and playing a key role in driving business growth within the workspace and fit-out market. 

The role:
You'll be responsible for generating and developing a strong pipeline of opportunities, working closely with the wider team to convert leads into projects. The position will involve engaging with key decision-makers, understanding client needs, and helping position the business within a competitive market. 

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing new business opportunities within commercial fit-out and interiors
Building relationships with stakeholders such as business owners, property professionals, and facilities managers
Carrying out market research to identify trends and potential clients
Managing and updating activity through CRM systems
Working towards and exceeding targets and KPIs
Supporting the development of business growth strategies
Providing regular updates on pipeline and market activity
Keeping up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
Requirements:

Experience in business development, sales, or account management (ideally within construction, fit-out, or interiors)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commercial mindset
Confident presenting and engaging with clients
Well organised with strong time management skills
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
A team player who can collaborate across departments
What's in it for you:

This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
