ASG LegalTech has 70 employees based in New York, Florida, Washington, California, and other locations across the US, and is part of ASG, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors. Job Description Your challenge is two-fold: 1) transform our existing content and 2) own new content creation with a digital first & inbound lead generation mindset. You will combine your writing experience with your expert collaboration and communication skills to lead content strategy across our organizations. We need a highly strategic thinker who is also comfortable in a start-up environment, unafraid to get their hands dirty and excited to take on responsibility in a business that is growing and adjusting. We are seeking someone creative and logical with exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, and deliver sales. This role is highly strategic and is suited for someone unafraid to work in a rapidly growing startup environment. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities Create a content strategy. Write compelling content that resonates with customers and leaders in our industry. Create the content our audience is looking for, and then optimize the path to conversion. Work closely with the digital marketing manager to ensure that web content strategy aligns with SEO goals. Target keywords set by the digital marketing manager and base articles around them. Create thought-leadership pieces by working with industry experts to turn their insights into consumable content. Create marketing content. This includes whitepapers, sell sheets, blog posts, webinar descriptions, website copy, press releases, email copy, etc. Assist marketing & sales teams with ad-hoc advertising copywriting. Manage the content creation process from initial draft to production. Create a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content delivery throughout the year. Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitor websites. Repurpose content for different mediums. Think analytically. Approach problems with a goal in mind, test hypotheses, and measure impact. Experience BA/BS or equivalent working experience. 2 years of marketing or content creation experience. Advanced understanding of content categorization, content development, distribution & measurement strategies. Understanding of SEO best practices. Ability to take disparate pieces of information and simplify into a compelling, straightforward piece of content. Knowledge and execution of SEO strategy A/B testing experience 4-year degree in marketing or related program Personal Characteristics Excellent communicator – written and oral Excellent time management and organizational skills Adept at learning web-based tools Analytical – can find meaning in numbers, and be a data-driven decision-maker Resourceful.
