We're looking for nurturing, trauma-informed teachers to support children in Salford and the surrounding areas who are currently not attending mainstream education.

About the role

As a Nurture Teacher, you'll work 1:1 with students who have SEND, SEMH, or EBSA needs. You'll teach in calm, community-based settings such as:

Libraries

Community hubs

*

Schools

*

Occasionally in the learner's home (fully risk-assessed)

What you need

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a recognised equivalent (essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or EBSA

A trauma-informed, relationship-based teaching style

*

Confidence to plan and deliver sessions independently
