HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver

** Fixed term summer roles from April 2024 to September 2024 **

Blue Arrow are recruiting Class 1 Nights Recovery Drivers for the summer period across the UK for an industry leading, nationwide breakdown service.

Due to the nature of the work, the key attributes we are looking for are excellent customer service, flexibility and attention to detail.

Pay Rates:

• £19.00 per hour
• £500.00 retention bonus paid to candidates who complete the full summer plan period

Shifts:

• This a pre agreed, set permanent night rota which includes weekends for the full term of the assignment
• Flexibility on finish times is expected due to the nature of the role

Requirements:

• C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• Digi Tacho card
• CPC card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• 12 months driving experience is preferable

Ideal Candidate:

• Applicants MUST live within a 25 miles radius of the planned / home site (BS7)
• Ability to liaise with the general public and maintain a high level of customer service
• Ability to work independently and good time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Candidates will need to undergo a Basic DBS (criminal background) check and provide certain documents for us to complete a credit check.

References:

• Must be able to supply 2 references to cover a minimum of last 12 months
• At least x1 Employment and x1 Personal reference

Paid Training:

• Training is completed off site Monday to Friday for 2 week period at the clients training center, all costs will be covered by the client
