You will play pivotal role within the Microlise ERP Implementation Team, and solely responsible for defining, testing and training our financial elements of the IFS system.
With thorough accounting and finance knowledge, you will work closely with the Finance department to understand and represent key requirements.
Your findings will then be converted into systems and processes, which are fit-for purpose and provide tangible benefits; ensuring these solutions align with the wider organisation and business strategy.
This is a fixed term contract, for a minimum of 6 months , to support the wider group with the successful deployment of the IFS system; therefore it is crucial that you have both Finance/Accounting experience and demonstrable involvement implementing IFS, so you can really hit the ground running and support the ERP Implementation Team at Microlise.
Responsibilities: Using accounting and IFS ERP System knowledge to define solution and processes in alignment with the finance team and customer requirements Work closely with the finance team to understand the specific needs and key processes Use accounting and business knowledge to challenge and improve in-line with best practices Confidently create and adapt finance processes in-line with the IFS ERP system Specify reporting requirements for hand-over to technical developer to create Create and execute test scenarios that provide a fit for purpose solution Oversee data cleansing and migration of financial data from current ERP system and Excel spreadsheets into IFS Create training and guidance documentation from which end-user training to the finance team will be completed Train-the-trainer to an allocated business owner Provision status and KPI data as required; keeping assigned project documentation up to date Review change ideas and problems for root cause, propose enhanced methods / processes in line with reducing operating expense, increasing throughput and maintaining optimum inventory Consideration of Lean Operations to key external stakeholders Building relationships with others will be paramount to success; showing high team intelligence, demonstrating a holistic view and collaborative working ways Usage of tools and techniques provided by Management to fit the business culture, standardised approach and continuously enhancing yourself and the business Essential Criteria: Demonstrable accountancy or comprehensive accounting knowledge; including consolidation (multi-currency), IFRS and project accounting Demonstrable ERP experience with IFS Experience creating process and training materials, providing end-user training of the same Experience of large volume data transformation / cleanse and migration between systems Dynamic team player with demonstrable strength in communication across stakeholders Deadline and results driven with impeccable attention to detail & organisational skills Highly self-motivated, keen to keep enhancing skills and knowledge Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel Confident influencer with excellent stakeholder management and experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams It would be advantageous if you have: Demonstrable ERP experience Axapta / Dynamics Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and / or Oracle for reports creation Experience being part of a software implementation team – particularly ERP.
Ideally have experienced significant change projects in virtual teams Experience in change management Understanding of telematics, journey management and ePOD for logistics, supply chain operations and CRM Why Microlise?
