Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Controller based in Bedford for a reputable professional organisation.
Summary of the Quality Controller role…
Salary: £27,846 + shift allowance £#removed#
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotational days and nights.
Responsibilities of the Quality Controller:
* Monitor product quality.
* Test product against the customer's requirement.
* Perform CCP metal detection checks.
* Report results and metal detection failures.
* Ensure that Certificates of analysis are sent to the customer.
* Ensure that product labels and Job Sheets are printed.
Requirements for a successful Quality Controller
* Level 2 or 3 HACCP qualification.
* Internal auditing qualification/certification.
* Food safety qualification.
* Experience within a similar role in the food industry.
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
