This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to step into a key leadership role within a fast-moving and high-volume operation.

The Role:
As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you'll support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations and lead a team of up to 40 staff. You'll be hands-on, organised, and results-driven, with a strong grip on performance, planning, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day management of the warehouse

• Lead, motivate and support a team of 40 staff across all operational areas

• Manage rotas and shift cover to ensure smooth and consistent workflow

• Oversee stock management and maintain inventory accuracy

• Monitor and drive team performance in line with KPIs

• Use Excel for reporting, analysis, and operational planning

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience leading teams in a warehouse or logistics environment

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices

• Confidence using Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
