We're currently recruiting for a SHE Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business based in the Preston area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking company in a Monday to Friday role with a competitive salary and bonus on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the site's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) function, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal standards

* Promote a positive safety culture across all departments

* Take a proactive, hands-on approach to site safety initiatives, audits, investigations, and risk assessments

* Own and manage pest control systems, ensuring the site meets all internal and external audit standards

* Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to site teams

* Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to embed best practices across the site

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a SHE Manager within the food manufacturing industry

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels

* In-depth experience in pest control within a food production environment

* NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent) is essential

* Good understanding of environmental standards and compliance
