LAW Absolute is working with a local authority based in North West England who are seeking a Prosecutions and Licensing Solicitor for a period of three months.
The successful Prosecutions and Licensing Lawyer will be required to pick up an existing caseload from the outset. You will need to have a good working knowledge of local authority prosecutions matters such as fly tipping, fraud, food safety and licensing. Previous local government experience is essential. You will also need to have experience of undertaking advocacy in the magistrates’ courts.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, candidates must be available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
