As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the safe preparation, reheating, presentation, and serving of meals using Apetito products, alongside basic food preparation. You will ensure that residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals that reflect their individual preferences and dietary needs. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

Responsible for:

• Basic breakfast preparations.
• Reheating, plating, and serving meals in line with Apetito guidance, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Stock control and ordering of food and catering supplies.
• Prepare food orders for residents in accordance with individual preferences and dietary requirements.
• Preparing trays for diners, ensuring meals are served correctly and promptly.
• To collaborate with the wider team to ensure the dining experience meets company standards and core values
• To wash all dirty cooking utensils, crockery, pots and pans using correct machinery and detergents and also wash up by hand when necessary.
