Are you experienced in Imports? My client are looking for an Import Administrator to join their team.

You will join a small but vital imports team currently consisting of two colleagues, working alongside three other staff members in a shared office. The role focuses on facilitating the smooth flow of shipments and data between our global suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Fully office based in LS14.

Key Responsibilities

Communicating order and shipment updates to customers and internal teams

Placing purchase orders with global factories for both stock and customer-specific orders

Booking shipments with suppliers and coordinating deliveries to our warehouse and direct-to-customer

Updating and maintaining accurate records on our internal system

Tracking shipments and liaising with shippers, hauliers, and customers

Filing and managing internal documentation

Supporting the wider business, including accounts, imports, warehouse, and purchasing teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining high levels of accuracy

Capable of working independently after initial guidance

An understanding of imports and/or logistics (preferred but not essential)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Experience with database systems - familiarity with SAGE 200 is a plus, though full training will be provided
